In this book is my 2015 Journey to get healthy. I'm not yet comfortable sharing my weight or measurements with the world. But this is where I start. Not where I stay.
We would like to have another baby. And while I'm very excited at the possibility, I am not in a healthy place for that to happen.
Before I got pregnant with J, I lost 50lbs was working out regularly and in a healthy place mentally and physically. When I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes, I took it as a blessing in disguise. I couldn't use my pregnancy as an excuse to indulge now. It wasn't healthy for my baby or myself
Then 1.5 months post partum, we moved out of our home. We were nomadic for over a month. Between the extra hunger from breast feeding & the lack of "my own kitchen", I gained a lot of weight. We ate out a lot, I was recovering from my emergency c-section, and was unable to workout.
Now, J is 6 months old. And other than a gimpy leg, im ready to get healthy again. I'm embarrassed to say I weighed more on 1 jan than I did at 9 months pregnant. Im approximately the same weight I was at 9 months pregnant.
This is the beginning of my weight loss story
